I'm not saying it's completely original, but Nintendo wasn't the first company to use a "mii/avatar" system.

Every company takes ideas that were successful, why wouldn't they? It doesn't hurt the gamers at all, it only improves our experience.

that is not correct.

The entire dashboard is being update, just search on sites like IGN and Teamxbox and you can see screens and vids!
