Multiple chars on single Gamertag possible?

I've been wondering about this for quite a while, and would like to get it cleared out once and for all :]

Will it be possible to start multiple chars while playing with the same gamertag? Since there are so many things to chose from (male/female, good/evil) etc. I will probably play the game several times. But how can this be done without losing my experienced char? I dunnow how they fixed this in previous parts of Fable.. was it even possible?

I think Lionhead must have provided a way to keep multiple chars.. becauz they must know alot of people will play the game more than once but it would be a waiste to just start all over and delete the old char.. On the other hand it would not make sense to have more than 1 char per gamertag, since the coop system with all the Ambient orbs etc wont work properly.

Imagine you invite your experienced friend to help you out in a tight corner, and he pops up with some noob alterchar of his.. cant be good :]

ah I couldn't find it, was late already when I posted ^__^

so this means only 1 char can be saved? and when a new char is started and saved, the other one gets deleted?

that would quite suck =__='

found a few threads on the xbox forums. they're saying you have 6 characters slots, 1 save per character.
