that was a wonderful event, we beat the CRAP outta eachother with wood/foam weapons, had beer, threw axes and spears and fired arrows at targets, took a man to the hospital, and nobody was sad! the cops knew what was up and there were waivers, so he got his arm fixed up and came back and drank and feasted more!

me and my fiance are going to a renaissance festival on oct. 25 and we are dressing up and stuff, armour is expensive!! :war:

i know, i have a helmet and leather armor, two leather bracers, and borrowed gauntlets, otherwise i bum where i can find

wow i bet that cost alot, im still trying to decide if i want leather armour or not it seems more comfortable

's cheaper, but either is comfortable, since plate armor has leather underneath anyways muaha

i'd suggest a cloak or robe, and black cloth pants, then you can just buy the chest and bracers and look great

's called 'medieval fun day' and it is an annual event in my town where people come and feast and fight and be merry

i'll load up more later, some guys had BADASS armor
