Couch Co-op

Subject: Couch Co-op Sun Oct 26, 2008 1:53 pm

In order to play couch Co-op one player needs to be signed into there gamer tag and then start up fable two and get into the game. then start up the second controller and sign in on the name. Then hit start with the second controller and the screen for co op pops up, simple as that... WRONG

BEWARE!
my friend came over and we played couch co op, he never played fable 2 so he had to make his own character before we started the co op. when he was done with the childhood i joined his game and there was an option to set save. DO NOT SAVE IT TO YOUR MAIN CHARACTER, u might thing the gold and experience adds on to your main character but no, IT BASICALLY RESTARTS YOUR CHARACTER, all its gold, all its experience and all its renown GONE.

XHeroX325@ I highly disagree. I thought co-op was rushed and could be plenty better but it is very fun in my opinion.

They need to go into a dang cave and not get distracted to make it better.

i co op'd with mike for a few hours last night
it was actually pretty fun, i transferred my toon into his world and got alot of gold for it
plus we killed guards for like... EVER xD

I completely agree with your second statement. After fixing some of the glitches they should work on Co-Op. PM is really pissed about co-op and in a interview said he will be trying to fix it.

i've played couch co-op a bunch and never had that problem. it always transfers the gold, experience and learned abilities over to the other person's main character.

They need to fix a couple of things such as

Bringing in your OWN hero.
Camera is a bit iffy.

agreed. everything else is great about co-op except for those exact two points. the camera is rubbish. we spend half of the time trying to get the camera to face the right way and getting our characters unstuck from weird places. But it's really cool that you can at least use your learned magic abilities in someone else's game.

I played couch co-op with my bud. I went over to his house, popped in my Memory Card. I let him beat childhood, up to the part where you wait for Thresea for 5min. After that, I joined in, played TONS, came back to my dude, and everything was normal.... :positive:

Co-Op camera takes awhile to get used to. It could be improved a bunch but it is not bad.

yea the camera is the only problem. if they made it separate cameras it would be sweet.

They need to do some updates for fable.

I feel that it has died for me.

Expected it to be great, but it turns

out it was great , then again really short.

I have a good feeling they are going to do what Oblivion did and release little expansion packs every now and then.

The camera is horrible, i hate it so much
and i want my own hero to play with!
