Aging System in Fable 2

Does anyone know how the aging system works in fable 2? Do you age when you level up, or does time go bye in the game and you age over time?

You age as the story progresses.

So if you dont follow the breadcrum trail through the story, you wont age?

probly not..... have u play the 1st fable...... that is how i worked on there. :war: :paladin:

yeah i played the first one. But in an interview PM said that there were seasons in the game, so i was thinking maybe you age with time and the seasons.

Yea if you dont follow it and do all the sidequest and other stuff aside from the story then you will stay young.

But I mean eventually you will have to do the story, so don't worry about it; PM said that the oldest you wuld get was 50 and thats not as bad as the last game

So, whilst I was at PAX, playing Fable2 (it was amazing, though the rhythm combat didnt work too well, it was way loud) I was talking to Sam, who's the community manager. I asked him how aging works, he told me that each level up is basically +1 to your age. (this system starts I believe AFTER childhood) He said that eventually you will reach the level cap (somewhere around 70 years old, that's what I overheard) then you will stop aging.

No it didnt u age overtime like in fable in fable 1 u can complete 3 missions n u will start aging i was 40 before i got to oakdale the first time after the tragity.

in fable and fable tlc, aging happened every time you increased your skills. that and every time it says "1 year later" or whatever. so i'm definitely liking this new method better. i honestly did not like being 50+ when i was only halfway through the game, and i mainly did the story. at the rate it was going, i shoulda keeled over and died before i ever reached the lost coast.

PM stated it's story driven, so if you don't follow the breadcrumb trail, you'll never grow old

now what about the dog does he age with u?

max age is 50

I don't mind my age, as long as I when I get about 60 or 70 it doesn't turn me into an old geezer who can't do anything.
